Bella’s Wedding Dress on InStyle

InStyle asked a couple of top designers for their take on Bella’s wedding dress. You can find their versions here. The sample below is designer Monique Lhuillier’s contribution.

However, Stephenie Meyer once gave out the dress descriptions and photos (seen below) to the Lexicon’s very own TrueLove who used to have a Bella’s Wedding Dress site. That site recently was taken down, but TrueLove gave the photos to us.

Stephenie’s description on the old Lexicon forums was, “I wish I still had the picture I based the description of Bella’s dress on, but it was lost in my fateful computer crash. Those of you who are going with the old fashioned look are on the right track. Two key words to aid in the search: art nouveau. It’s a simpler style than the frillier Edwardian stuff. Elegant white satin, cut on the bias, with long sleeves (the strapless thing is a very recent development. It wasn’t even popular when I was getting married, only 13 years ago, much less during the modest turn of the century). I search google images for the dress every now and then. I’ll let you know if I find something close one of these days.”

Love2dream based on Stephenie’s description, found the above images and asked if she was on the right track. Stephenie replied that the look was close, but not the exact photo that she had seen.

So what do you think of the EW collection and love2dream collection?

New Moon Stars’ Pets

Ashley Greene has brought her new puppy, Marlow, up to Vancouver with her. Kellan Lutz on the other hand has opted to leave his exuberant dog, Kola, at home.

At the Twilight Tour in Atlanta, one fan asked about Kola, and Kellan told a couple of great stories. Kola has every bit as much personality as Kellan does.  If you want a great story ask Kellan about the time he has Kola in his truck and the dog needed to “make  pit stop” but there was no place to pull over. He acts the story out in full detail where he’s looking to pull over, looking at the dog, trying to talk the dog out of doing the inevitable, and when he finally pulls over the dog refuses to go.

Anyway, after such a cute story (and about three more dog stories) one fan asked, “Are you going to take Kola with you to the set?”  Kellan responded words to the effect of Oh no! She’s got way too much energy. She needs a yard to run around and lots of attention. I have friends back in LA who can see that she gets the attention and the exercise that she needs.

Well based on a new set of pictures from Just Jared, we think we understand that energy thing now.

Breaking Dawn: Rumors Rumors Rumors

There are a ton of rumors swirling around the making of Breaking Dawn, so we thought we’d run them down for you.

1.  Boo Boo Stewart (Seth) mentioned that he is signed to the current movie, Eclipse, plus an additional two. This lead to speculation that Breaking Dawn would be split into two parts.  The studio issued a statement to Access Hollywood that, “We appreciate our young actor’s enthusiasm for the franchise and his role, but his comments about the number of films were unfortunately uninformed and not accurate; however, the fans should rest assured the we’re working with Stephenie Meyer to bring ‘Breaking Dawn’ to the big screen.” and then Boo Boo’s reps stated that he only meant to talk about the first movie. So where did Boo Boo’s extra movies come from?  Lots of times actors are standardly signed to a three movie deal regarding whatever project they make so the studio has them if the project takes off for sequels. For example, it’s how Pirates of the Caribbean II and II was made, the actors were signed to a three picture deal. When the first one unexpectedly took off, they were onboard for two more.

2. The Breaking Dawn tab on the Summit Official world of Twilight website would seem to indicate that the studio has acquired the rights to the film, (otherwise huge oops for lisiting something you don’t have the rights to). It could be at any stage of developement.

3. A website listing that Breaking Dawn would be three movies did so just picking up in the fact that the novel has three sections. they don’t have any insider info.

4. Other actors connected to the project supposedly stating that Breaking Dawn would start filming in February in Vancouver, two words: Winter Olympics. Those remarks remain rumor. If any movie manages to film in Vancouver while the city plays host to the Olympics this winter than hats off to them. It would be a logistical nightmare based on the traffic of the incoming visitors, not to mention that local production equipment/people get hired by the out-of-town media from every country in the world that is about to descend.

So what do we think? They’ll probably make Breaking Dawn, but the time frame is unknown.

Peter Facinelli’s Nurse Jackie Finale

The good news is that Nurse Jackie has been picked up for a second season. So if you want a sneak peak into what happens on the season finale, check out the video below! Also Peter is trying to become Mr. Ultimate World Twitter. Vote for Peter here.

Chris Weitz also expands on the CGI for pivital scenes.

Eclipse Filming: Moving Full Steam Ahead

It’s always interesting when franchise movies change directors. Everyone has something new to bring to the project. So far from what we can tell as the casual observer, David Slade seems to be plowing ahead with efficiency while maintaining a sense of humor.

In the last couple of days, sets in very different locations have gone up in the afternoon, have had shooting done at night, and by mid morning all traces are gone. Quite impressive. At the same time, after undergoing what is obviously a long night of shooting, David had tweeted to fans about a joke picture he took with the prop guys.

Mandy, talks about seeing this uber organization first hand, where a scene under a bridge involving Bryce Dallas Howard and Xavier Samuel was done in a heartbeat, while still having attention to detail.

“I was not at all surprised to see NOTHING left…

I know lot’s of people don’t have sets in their own backyard but shooting a scene takes tons of time, money, people and equipment…

I am so impressed so far with how “on the ball” David Slade is.

I remember when I met him outside Blue Water Cafe for the Cast Party at the end of New Moon. He stopped to chat with me and to clear the air about the things he had previously said about Twilight Saga…. he was cordial and really quite sweet… and short… but anyways…. so far this director has been in and out of multiple sets using perfect locations and just hammering it out quick and easy…

So yes, when I saw nothing at under the bridge today I was not shocked… David Slade and his crew are good – really good!”

Check out Mandy’s full report here including pictures of Bryce and Xavier that are a bit spoilerish. So, if you don’t want to see what could be termed a Victoria’s point of view scene, don’t click this link, however this link is safe.

Mandy also mentions some of the craziness that is happening on the local Vancouver air waves and in the print media.

“Last night, we stumbled upon this set while re-visiting a previous set used for New Moon. We were excited to see another live set but did not stay long as they quickly blocked the view with several screens and large trucks…I had been texted a few seconds earlier by a friend saying “some dumb broad called the radio and claimed they would tell everyone where the set was after the break”…I have actually had massive arguements with people about publicizing set locations when you can’t control who hears… meaning crazy people hear and show up and act – well… crazy!)”

Twilight Yearbook: Stephenie Meyer and More

What The Forks has found a series of photos that features Twilight names in their yearbook photos.

Teens of the late 1990’s-early 2000’s: Kellan Lutz has a bit of the 90210 (the original series) hair going on, while Ashley Greene seems to have mastered the flat iron.

Teens of the late 1980’s-early 1990’s: Stephenie Meyer has remarkably tame hair given the period. Those 1980’s bangs are there though.

Boo Boo Stewart: Up to the Physical Challenge

As the son of a martial arts pro, and as an award winning martial arts pro himself, Boo Boo shows that he is up to the physical demands of Eclipse. That’s pretty impressive for someone who isn’t old enough to get a drivers license. We’re thinking that pound for pound he can more than keep up with Alex Meraz and Chaske Spencer
