Taylor Lautner & Kristen Stewart: Mexican Press Conference

Kudos to Twilight Poison for putting this all together! See the video below and check out their site for more videos and transcripts.

100 Monkeys: The Photographer’s View

The Jackson Rathbone oriented site, I Felt Hope, has secured an interview (not to mention some amazing pictures where we are respecting the request not to cross post) with Phoenix Taylor. He is a rising star in the photography world. He has covered numerous subjects including Jackson and the band as well as Jackson’s sister, and fellow visual artist, Kelly.

“You spent some time with 100 Monkey’s recently during Twicon. Describe what that experience was like especially from a photographer’s point of view.
In one paragraph of an interview? Yeah right! I will have to say, I spent almost 8 days with the 100 Monkeys and I would relive those days everyday again and again, like Groundhogs Day, for the rest of my life.
Well… maybe that is too much. But, you get the idea. There was not a moment with them, living with them, working with them, seeing them with their fans, cooking with Uncle Larry (barely) and just chilling with them that was not an amazing experience. I can not stress enough the amount of character the band has, let alone Jackson Rathbone! And, I know that is who people want to know about. The man was born for great things… from his music, to his acting and to his character as a human being. I don’t think I have met a man that could have more of a chip on his shoulder and yet there is absolutely NONE to be found! And, that alone speaks volumes about these guys!”

I was welcomed in as one of them, asked my opinions, heard and then released to seek out my vision for the band and they did everything they could to be what I needed them to be… which ironically, was just themselves!

Tinsel Korey:Twilight Examiner Interview

Amanda Bell, the Twilight Examiner, was able to talk with Tinsel Korey about her most recent project and New Moon.
“Q: So I’m really interested in what you’ve been doing, kind of philanthropically. I mean, I’m really amazed at you’ve done with the Quileute Nation, and I’d just like to hear kind of looking back if you would do it again and if we could look forward to seeing you go back to Quileute Nation and teach the kids another time?
A: Yeah absolutely! I talk about it all the time about how I miss them because of how that journey … as much as they feel I gave them something, they gave me something. With their generosity for inviting me there, and I love and care about the kids so much. It’s not just about pushing acting. I wanna go back and make sure I can teach them to employ whatever aspirations that they have. It’s not just about acting, it’s about teaching them what they wanna do. I’m like ‘What do you guys wanna do?’ And they’re like ‘well I like to hang out with my friends,’ and I’m like ‘that’s great because you guys have this beautiful surf area.’ The kids figure out a way in order to make it a surf shop. I just give them some ideas. And they’re like ‘Oh that’s cool.’ It’s just a little bit of things that you don’t think about, like something’s that you like doing and you realize how to make that a career for yourself and still be happy. Some people feel like ‘Oh, I have to take a nine to five job,’ but it’s like no, you can do what you love and make it into a profession. So yeah, I definitely wanna go back there and just look at them and learn more about who are they are as a people. The whole reason I went to the Quileute Nation is that I wanted to know their thoughts about the whole Twilight thing. You know, to get their views on it, and also find out what I can do as an actress in the film to help their causes, and what they wanna say to the world. Definitely want to go back for sure.”

MTV Needs Your Questions

MTV, as well as several other major media outlets, are going to be at the New Moon press junket this weekend.  They want fan questions.

According to MTV:

“For starters, Larry will be speaking to stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner individually, as well as director Chris Weitz. He’ll also be doing a series of group interviews, which you can probably guess at the breakdown of: the Cullens, the Wolf Pack and the Volturi. So that’s seven interviews in total: the four individuals plus the three groups. Our time is limited, so please keep your submissions to one question apiece per interview. Just send them over to [email protected] by Wednesday night. And get psyched from the November 20 release of “New Moon”!”

Robert Pattinson Lays It On The Line in Vanity Fair

Robert hits it all: the unexpected fame, the fan reaction, his relationship with Kristen Stewart, etc. It’s all in this month’s Vanity Fair. A small portion of the interview and photos are online. More is promised in the issue which according to VF, “is available on newsstands in New York and Los Angeles on November 4 and nationally on November 10.”

“Rather than working his way through supermodels, Pattinson, who’s been living out of three suitcases for the past year, has been feeling overwhelmed, self-conscious, and guilty. “I’m trying not to drown,” he says in his hotel room at the San Diego Hard Rock Hotel, which is littered today with beer bottles, old scrambled eggs, a half-eaten Twix bar, and a dirty pair of jeans on the living-room floor. And he notices that he hasn’t made his bed. “Oh, God. Sorry about that.”

“I’m unbearably self-conscious about stuff,” he admits. To the point where, while filming scenes before the army of New York paparazzi that has been following him around, he is terrified that his “ass crack is showing.”

See the rest of the feature on Vanity Fair online (and buy the issue this week and next). Also check out the outtakes from Rob’s photo session.
