And here we thought yesterday’s clip was good. It gives the sentence (granted from Breaking Dawn) “Aro sounded bored.” new meaning!  Check out this new scene on Yahoo.

InStyle Talks to the New Moon Design Team

InStyle has the rundown direct from costume designer, Tish Monaghan.

On Alice’s signature style Tish said,

“Alice: The Family Fashionista

1. FASHION: “Alice [Ashley Greene] is the most stylish Cullen and she’s into accessories!” declares Monaghan, who chose the crimson-hued Gala gloves because “they looked bloody cute!” (Try these Ann Taylor gloves for a similar look.) Mongahan also used accessories from Banana Republic, Ray-Ban and Lacoste to complete Alice’s stylish ensembles.
2. BEAUTY: For Alice’s vampire pout, makeup artist Norma Hill-Patton played up Greene’s natural lip color with MAC Llipglass in the now-discontinued Plum Parfait shade (try Spite for a similar look). Hill-Patton also added extra volume to Alice’s lashes using Ardell DuraLash Flare falsies in Short Black.”
Check out the tricks of the trade the Tish employed to make Taylor look bigger, Dakota evil and more.

New Moon Cast at Rome Film Festival

Cameron Bright, Melissa Rosenberg, Charlie Bewley, and Jamie Campbell-Bower were all at the Rome Film Festival to debut New Moon clips for the Italian fans.

“Breaking Dawn: will it be filmed? When?”
Rosenberg and the actors declined to answer, and only said they are perfectly happy with the first three films. (They didn’t say “We don’t know yet”, they actually skirted the question…) Rosenberg said she has chosen to focus on the emotional journey of the book, and tried to replicate it in her script. This meant condensing some scenes, expanding other scenes with more action sequences. In the first movie she was very protective of her script, and felt Meyer was a strong external influence; but this time she realized Meyer was very cooperative, and a pleasure to work with.”

Belated Wolfpack Wednesday!

Over the last several months the Lexicon has been very fortunate to attend several of the Official Twilight Conventions run by Creation Entertainment. At every one of the events we have Tweeted about the Q&A sessions given by the various actors most recently in the the main Lexicon account at the Chicago tour stop.

At the Chicago convention we attended we had Bronson Pelletier, Tinsel Korey, Tyson Houseman, and Kiowa Gordon all on stage at the same time telling many funny and personal stories about their experiences on set while filming The Twilight Saga: New Moon. And as always, we Tweeted all about it.

Thanks to Creation, we were fortunate enough, to able to get the pack members to sign various items. And the good news is that we want to repay you all for following our Tweets by giving these photos away.

Each Wednesday, (for as long as we have stuff 🙂 ) we are giving items away. If you know the correct answer, reply to the post with your answer and we will choose one winner at random at the end of the day. Make sure you spell your email address correctly when you post your comment so we can get in touch if you win. Anyone can participate from anywhere in the world. we don’t care if the winner is on the Antarctic science station. we’ll get your photo to you no matter what continent you live on.

Last week’s winner was Steffi from Belgium. Steffi got an Alex Meraz sign photo.

Now for this week’s question which will get one lucky person a signed Bronson Pelletier autograph: “When talking about the paparazzi, what did one paparazzi do that really freaked Bronson Pelletier out?”

We will close this contest at 11:59pm est. today, Friday to make up for the fact that we posted late.

New Moon cast descends on Nashville: Jackson Rathbone hosts music festival with friends & fans

This press release just in from the organizers of New Con:

“As if it wasn’t enough to have the biggest movie of the year hitting theaters next month, New Moon star, Jackson Rathbone, is adding a music festival to his to do list.  Rathbone and some of his fellow cast members will be hosting the NewCon Festival in Nashville, Tennessee from November 6th through the 8th.

Jackson’s band, 100 Monkeys, will be headlining the festival.  The weekend includes Twilight and New Moon inspired art competitions as well as poetry and fan fiction contests.  100 Monkeys will also be part of an open jam session on Saturday, November 7th.  Anyone attending the festival can bring their instrument to jam with the band for two hours.

The band will pick one lucky fan to join them on stage Saturday night during their concert at The Wildhorse Saloon in downtown Nashville.

Award winning artist, Kelly Garrett Rathbone, (Jackson’s sister) will be one of the judges at the art competition and a panelist during the Q&A sessions over the weekend.  She currently has pieces on exhibit in galleries nationwide.

NewCon’s goal is to inspire people to get more involved in the arts.  The winners of the writing and art contests will get a private meet & greet with all attending cast members and have their winning pieces signed by them as well.  “We wanted to do something different that inspires people to get off their couch and create something,” said Rathbone.

100 Monkeys will also host a ‘design your own t-shirt’ contest during the festival.  The winning shirt will actually get printed as a limited edition and sold on the band’s website, with all of the money going to the Spencer Bell Legacy Project.  Spencer was a dear friend of Jackson and his band mates who lost his battle with adrenal cancer in 2006.

The weekend promises to be anything but ordinary.  More cast members and bands will be announced every week leading up to the event.  To make sure everyone has time to fully enjoy the festival, there  are only 400 tickets

Christian Serratos: Save The Seals

Christian Serratos is a vegetarian and an animal rights supporter. She’s lending her voice to the Save the Seals Campaign.

When asked why she is getting involved, Christian said, “The baby seals are defenseless and must watch as fellow pups are shot or bludgeoned to death and then skinned—often while they are still fully conscious.  They’re being beaten with ice picks and their skins are being peeled off their backs in front of their mothers, which is just unreasonable and ridiculous and evil.”
