Revolver to Do Robert Pattinson Documentary

According to the UK’s Screen Daily, the UK-based production company Revolver is slated to do a documentary on Robert Pattinson. The documentary will cover Rob’s rise from virtual unknown to perhaps the most photographed icon in the world.

According to Screen Daily:

“Justin Marciano, chief executive of Revolver, said: “Teenagers just can’t get enough of Robert Pattinson and this broadcast quality biography is guaranteed to deliver whether on TV or home entertainment.”

Revolver is also planning to create a box-set with the documentary accompanying Haunted Airmen, the 2006 drama starring Pattison to which it also holds the rights.”

Mike Welch Does Barracuda

Mike Welch does these what he terms “Jim Carey meets Jack Black” lip sync /karaoke comedy routines. We’ve seen him do Bohemian Rhapsody and I’m Telling You from Dreamgirls where we were laughing so hard we couldn’t breathe. He added Barracuda to his repertoire this past weekend at Chicago’s Official Twilight Tour.

Rob-O-Lantern Contest

We’ve seen our share of Twilight Themed Jack-o-lanterns, but this is the first time we’ve heard a calling for a Rob-o-lantern. MTV’s Hollywood Crush has a contest going:

Here’s the deal: We want you to bare your creative fangs and carve Rob’s likeness into one of those round, orange gourds. It can be Rob as Edward Cullen, Rob as Cedric Diggory, or Rob simply as his lovely self (perhaps executing his signature hair tousle or on the cover of yet another tabloid magazine). Take a pic of your perfect pumpkin and upload it to http://your.mtv.com with the label “Rob O’Lantern Contest.” The DEADLINE for the photo is October 23. The following week, we’ll reveal the top 3, with the grand-prize winner announced October 30.”

Check it out on Hollywood Crush.

Matthew Bellamy Explains Why Twilight

You have a song on the new Twilight film. Are you a fan?
Matt Bellamy: Well, I liked The Lost Boys in the ’80s. I remember that one had a pretty good soundtrack as well. This sort of film struck me as this generations version of The Lost Boy. It was actually Stephenie Meyer who approached the band quite a few years before the film was name, just as she was becoming known. She came to a concert in Phoenix, in Arizona – I think that’s where she lived, or she lived nearby. She was very friendly, and she told us that she liked the music and that she’d like to use the music in the films. It was a few years later that the filmmakers came to us, and we said sure. I had no idea [the first film] was going to be a film as it was, I thought is was going to be an indie film.

One of the best things about being at the Official Twilight Convention this weekend in Chicago was that they had so many new stills from The Twilight Saga: New Moon.  We posted the image of Tinsel Korey in her make up as Emily Young, but now we have the chance to bring that to you and several others in better quality.  We will place the stills below the cut so that if you wish to remain spoiler free you can.

Thanks to Creation Entertainment for everything they do for the Lexicon and the fandom!  Check out their online store.

Are you ready to face the phenomenon of fans as massive as the inherent ‘Twilight’?
“I’m prepared for anything, I’ll take it as it comes. In fact do not consider myself a celebrity and I do not understand what is going on. It is an honor that people want to take pictures with me and ask me for autographs, but for me it is incomprehensible. “
