LA Times The Dish Rag has a cover shot of Robert Pattinson looking very much like James Dean. In the article he talks about Twilight (DUH!), acting versus celebrity, and his upcoming projects.
He admits that finding a copy of “Twilight” in London was difficult initially.
“I tried a couple of bookshops and they weren’t available. Hardly anyone I knew had read them apart from one girl, a friend of my sister.”
Remember last year when the Canadian Mounted Police (AKA Mounties) ensured the safty of the production crew while they shot the beach and bike scenes at Tofino?
Well the Mounties are at it again, only this time the location is a lot less exotic. It’s Bella’s house.
“Imagine one of Canada’s famous Mounties. You know, the ones who appear in movies with giant stetsons and bright red serge tunics.
Now imagine vampires.
Canada’s famous police force and the world’s even more famous vampires had a meeting of sorts on Friday in Surrey, British Columbia, during a film shoot for Eclipse, the third installment in the uber popular Twilight series.
A Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer guarded 28th street in Surrey on Friday, keeping twittering Twilight fans more than half a kilometre away from the set of Bella Swan’s house.”

The folks over at the Examiner had the chance to catch an interview with Edi Gathegi, Justin Chon, and Gil Birmingham this last weekend when the guys were in Orlando for the Fantasy TwiLife convention. You can read the entire interview here.
Q: What kind of motivates you guys to do the conventions?
Justin: Um, I think it’s fun, and you get to go somewhere that maybe you haven’t been before. I mean, I haven’t been to Orlando in so long, and I’ve gotten to go to Europe twice. That’s pretty awesome … and meet people who actually want to talk to you.
Edi: You’re like loved as soon as you walk in the door.
Justin: That’s a good feeling.
Gil: Oh, I just love the fans. The fans are the best part of it. Just to have interaction and hear their stories and how involved they are with the series. There’s some fabulous stories I’ve heard and I’m completely touched by it. And from that way, it makes things all really worthwhile.
They also have a great write up about Gil Birmingham’s music as well as a few videos of him performing some of his original music and jamming with the guys from Nova Echo.
Arizona fans, here’s a heads up. Mike Welsh’s new film “Lost Dream” will be featured at the Tuscon Film Festival from Oct. 9 – 11. “You’re hot then you’re cold, it’s yes than it’s no…” sorry, got distracted there for a second. Everytime someone says Hillywood, that song gets stuck in my head.
Anyway, the Hillywood staff is having auditions for their upcoming New Moon parody. If you have never seen their videos, check out the Twilight parody and its behind the scenes outtakes below.
You can also see the Hillywood players in person October 2-4 at the Official Twilight Tour in Chicago. (Actually, you can see us there too.) Hannah, Hilly, Jacob, and Drew (AKA Alice, Bella, Edward, Jasper)are incredibly talented and some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet!
Check out their website for full details on how to audition!
Tinsel has joined Twitter. You can find her at http://twitter.com/tinselkorey.

So this brings us to our semi-monthly or so Twitter round up. Here’s the run down of who has a real Twitter and who doesn’t.
Here are a listing of the real Twitters
relating to the Twilight Saga
Updated as of 9/26/09
Cullen Family Members
Peter Facinelli (also on Twitter is Peter’s fabulous wife Jennie Garth)
The Volturi
Forks Humans
Quileute Tribe Members
Other vampires
Directors
The Twitters supposedly run by Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed are all fakes. Ways to tell: mislabeling of photos stating where & when the pics were taken, Tweeting while clearly performing , all created around the same date, claiming they are posting personal photos when in reality are actually recycled paparazzi shots, official sites of actors don’t list a Twitter, etc.
