Cause=Time has a great interview with Marcus Foster from when he was in L.A. Marcus talks about his music, future plans and England in the World Cup. There are also two songs you can listen while reading the article.
C=T : Your music has been selected on two different occasions to appear in cinema. How do you decide if you want your work to appear in said works?
MF: One of the films had Christopher Walken in it and I’m a big fan of his so I couldn’t say no and it’s a great movie called ‘Five Dollars A Day’. The other film was different because a friend of mine sung the song that I wrote and I didn’t know he recorded it but when I found out I thought why not.I would like to do some more music for film, I like the idea of doing something like Neil Young in that film ‘Dead Man’ where he just watched the film and played his guitar. I also write a lot of instrumental stuff on the piano.

The Boston Herald has an article with Bobby Long, who will be performing at Club Passim in Cambridge, tomorrow night. The article has some insight into how “Let Me Sign” landed on the Twilight soundtrack and what Bobby’s plans are for the future.
Long has a likable, rough-hewn voice, a catchy way with a chorus and a style that evokes early Bob Dylan. His musical heroes are all-American country, folk and blues artists, such as Woody Guthrie, Neil Young, Hank Williams and John Hurt.

Fandango talks fall movies and of course New Moon is one of the highly anticipated movies coming out this fall. Chris Weitz talks vampires and werewolves:
The vampire-werewolf feud makes for a nice exploration of our own psyches, said “New Moon” director Chris Weitz.
“I suppose they’re the two most relatable human monsters that we can think of. They nicely encapsulate restraint and passion,” Weitz said. “Vampires are cold-blooded, literally, and werewolves are hot-blooded.”

From the Twitter of David Slade, we have another Taylor Lautner picture.
David also Tweeted that “Rehearsals with Kristen, Billy Burke and Rob yesterday. Third week of shooting just hours away. Preparation, preparation preparation.”
Peter Facinelli was also busy on Twitter. Peter talked about his experience raising money for a children’s hospital,
“Yesterday… I visited the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland, Oregon yesterday morning. The courage I saw in the faces of these sick children is something I will never forget. Their smiles were stronger than any disease. Even the sickest of the group I met were determined that yesterday be a good day. I spent the morning with them in awe of their strength. Not only their strength but the strength of their family members supporting them. It made me very aware how much health is taken for granted. I pray they win their fight and can return home again soon.” Read the rest here
Nikki Reed also guest Tweeted on Peter’s Account, “Hi Nikki Reed here… Sitting with Fach. Just searched and found dozens of posers. I don’t have Twitter. Please don’t follow them!!! Scary! I don’t have Myspace either.”
Apparently there is this magazine in South America that reported that actress Luisana Lopilato was cast in Eclipse in the role of Tanya. She’s the girlfriend of Canadian performer Michael Buble. They were recently seen in Vancouver ( shocker we know since her boyfriend is…er…Canadian) and someone put 2+2 together and basically came up with 5.
It seemed really fishy to us in that Tanya 1) is not in the book Eclipse as an actual speaking character, and 2) that part or anything remotely like it hasn’t appeared on any casting notices.
So we asked Summit. It turns out despite the fact that it’s being reported as fact in various quarters that it’s just plain rumor and nothing more. We confirmed with Summit that Luisana Lopilato in not invovled in Eclipse.

Highlight of yesterday were makeover winners getting a dance with Alex Meraz, Chaske Spencer, and Kiowa Gordon. There were fabulous costumes including a dead on Victoria!
