MTV: What Can We Expect on Oprah

The folks over at MTV have asked what I think all fans are asking: What can we expect to see on Oprah today? Obviously, we will see the final trailer for Eclipse. Hopefully that trailer will give us more of a glimpse of the action and suspense of the film like the New Moon trailer did as well as more of the actual romance. And because Nikki Reed, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Julia Jones will be on the live chat feed after the trailer debuts on the main Twilight internet channels, MTV speculates that they may show up on Oprah as well. They also assume that some other cast members might appear, which we can only assume means Rob, Taylor, or Kristen. Face Punch Contest Reminder

This is just a quick reminder that there is still time to enter our Face Punch trailer contest to win autographed prizes.  We will be giving away a Stephenie Meyer autograph to one of the winners as well as items autographed by multiple members of the cast that have appeared at Creation Entertainment events this year.  The contest is simple: Create a trailer for the fictional movie “Face Punch” as mentioned in The Twilight Saga: New Moon.  Here are the rules.

1. The video must be between one minute and two and a half minutes in length. Any video longer than two minutes and thirty seconds will be disqualified.

2.  The video should resemble traditional trailers of various scenes and not be one long, continuous scene.

3. The video can use dialogue and references from The Twilight Saga: New Moon but it cannot be the actual recorded sound from the film.

4. The video must be posted on YouTube on your own channel. We will not host your video for you.

5. You must send us a link to your YouTube video to [email protected].

6. You must send us your video information by May 5, 2010. Winners will be announced May 7, 2010.

Ashley Greene: Nylon Magazine Article and Photo Spread

Ashely Greene along with Vanessa Hudgens and Portia Doubleday are on the cover of Nylon for May. There is a fabulous photo spread by Marvin Scott Jarrett and an article that covers Ashley’s rising career, the paparazzi, and the Twilight Saga:

Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth Do Cat Food Can Art.

April 22, 2010

It’s all to promote recycling and the Keep America Beautiful project. According to the Baltimore Sun both Jennie and Peter made art out of cat food cans (Frisky’s cat food is a sponsor) and their creations are being auctioned on Ebay to support the charity. Jennie did a floral arrangement(bid here), and Peter made a motorcycle(bid here).

UK’s Idol Magazine Interviews Edi Gathegi

What Is On The Twilight Casts’ Plates Next?

Tracey over at Hollywood News has an extensive rundown of the upcoming projects of each cast member. They all have very full schedules, Taylor Lautner’s and Robert Pattinson’s alone are  impressive.

“Robert Pattinson

Breaking Dawn: Timing TBD.
Water for Elephants: Though this movie will film in 2010, it won’t hit theaters until 2011.
Bel Ami:  If you’re an RPattz fan, you’ve undoubtedly seen recent pictures and videos of Rob dressed in lovely Parisian garb. Again, though filming will be completed in 2010, this film is set to debut in 2011.
Unbound Captives: Though Rob is attached to this film, with his current schedule, the studio likely won’t be able to start filming until 2011, particularly if/when Breaking Dawn gets greenlit.  However, Rob Pattinson and Hugh Jackman is a whole lotta pretty for one film!

Taylor Lautner
Breaking Dawn: Timing TBD.
Abduction: This timing looks much more realistic – 2012 release.
Cancun: Not must to add to this film.  It’s in development and Taylor Lautner is supposedly attached to the film, which is releasing in 2011.
Stretch Armstrong: Taylor Lautner will play Hasbros’ Superhero, Stretch Armstrong.  There was a bit of controversy when Taylor took this part, as it came at the same time that he pulled out of playing the lead in Mattel’s “Max Steel”.  This film is in pre-production and had a release date of 2012.

Eclipse Score Is Completed

David Slade Tweeted last night in the wee hours of the morning in the UK, “Howard Shore composer and conductor at Abbey Rd Studios with Orchestra. Our sound score recording is complete and there are no words to describe it. The film just got more exciting.” He also included the above picture.  Howard Shore is most commonly known as the genius behind the Lord of the Rings score and we’re sure we don’t have to explain the significance of Abbey Road studios!
