The Twilight Saga has been nominated for five UK National Movie Awards which will be given out on May 26. For those of us not up to speed with UK award shows, The National Movie Awards have been around for a few years now and are very similar to the People’s Choice awards given out in the US. The general public can vote for their favorites in a variety of categories. New Moon is nominated in the fantasy category. Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner are all nominated in the performance category competing against each other. And Eclipse is nominated for most anticipated film of the summer. Eclipse Final Trailer on Oprah: We Want Your Reactions!
So the news broke this weekend that the final Eclipse trailer will debut on the Oprah Winfrey Show on April 23rd (and no doubt it will be a viral video soon after). We want to see your live reaction watching it.
So here’s the deal, tape your reaction to the trailer, upload it to YouTube, send us the link, and we will cover the best reactions from people who are preteens, teens, twenties, thirties, fourties…you get the idea. If we have someone’s great grandma watching, we want to see the reaction because Twilight fans come in all ages! You have until Saturday the 24th at noon eastern to get us your clip, so you’ll have enough time to upload and edit. It doesn’t have to be fancy, in fact really raw rough cuts from web cams are often the best stuff. We’ll run the best ones on Sunday morning.
Send the link to your video to [email protected]
Nikki Reed: Eclipse Stunts Were Draining But Worth It
People Magazine talked to Nikki Reed about the physical intensity of Eclipse:
“We’re always standing out in like 30-degree weather, with pouring rain, trying to keep our vampire makeup intact,”she told PEOPLE at designer Yotam Solomon’s fashion show in Los Angeles. “It’s hectic, it’s crazy, it’s very jam-packed full of emotion…We were doing a lot of stunts, too much in too little time,” Reed, 21, said, calling life on set “tough.” “The hardest part is trying to fly around on cables in the woods at 6 o’clock, fighting the sunset and stuff. And looking like we’re not cold and super powerful, when we just want to die.”
Peter Facinelli A Hit In Bridgeport!

Quileute Nation Photo Policy
The Quileute Nation has a photo policy that’s now in effect. It doesn’t affect private citizens so much as it does businesses. What is comes down to more than anything else is just simple respect and common sense. In other words if you are visiting LaPush and taking photos for personal use of scenery, no problem. If you are fortunate enough to be there for a live performance (as with any live performance say in like a Broadway theater) see if photography/video is allowed before firing away. If you see something else that you want a photo of like someone’s private home, people at work on their fishing boats, kids playing (you get the idea) it would be polite to ask first. Lastly, (and we feel stupid saying this, but seemingly people don’t read signs) don’t take photos of clearly marked sacred ground that is marked no admittance!
The reason for the policy is simple. Sometimes photos and videos have ended up being used in not the most respectful of ways or have been mislabeled. For example, an MSN film crew photographed their burial ground (later taken down)which is considered sacred and private. Think about it this way, if you had just buried one of your relatives, would you want their resting place plastered all over the news? The other factor is that the Quileute people don’t want to be misrepresented by people who visit once and decide they know it all. In other words how would you like it if a film crew/author etc. came to your neighborhood and did a documentary and didn’t consult you.
In any case they have an Indian Country Etiquette guideline on their website to help visitors, and below the cut is a more detailed policy regarding filming and the artwork of the Quileute Nation that they consider proprietary in nature so that they have a say in how their nation and culture is represented to the public.
And while we are speaking of the Quileute Nation, why not support their tribe by stopping by their store. [Read more…]

“We just wanted to inform you of our 2010 Birthday Project for Rob! Last year, our project was a success! We sent Rob a 100+ page book (which was filled back to back with over 2,000 submissions) and this year, we’ve partnered with two Rob LiveJournal communities, to bring you the 2010 Birthday Card Project!

You can find all the details on the project here: http://www.robertpattinsononline.com/2010birthdayproject
We were hoping you might be able to help us out and spread the word. ”
