Let Edward or Jacob Take Over Your Facebook Profile!

It looks like the Team Edward or Team Jacob debate has hit Facebook!  AfterTheBite.com has detailed instructions on how you can show your love for either Edward or Jacob on Facebook by doing what they are calling the “Edward profile hack” or the “Jacob profile hack”.  You download the images they provide and upload them into a Facebook album.  You have to tag the photos in the order they are given to you for it to work, so be aware that it might take a little time.  It also only works if you’ve changed over your home page to the new layout, so if you prefer the old style this isn’t for you.  But given that the Edward/Jacob battle still rages on we think there were soon be many facebook pages hacked by the Vampire or Werewolf!

New Photos of Volturi in Breaking Dawn Costumes

PopSugar is running a series of photos taken of the Volturi members during a night shoot in Louisiana for Breaking Dawn Part 1.  They are obviously outside as everyone, cast and crew, are bundled up in coats and hats.  It looks as if they are waiting for the shoot to begin.  You can see Dakota Fanning (Jane) sitting in her chair with Chris Hyerdahl (Marcus) to her right and Cameron Bright (Alec) and Jamie Campbell Bower (Caius) to her left.  Michael Sheen shows up a few photos later in full costume for Aro.  We’re not going to post the photos here as we know some of you are trying to stay “spoiler free.”  If you’d like to see the photos, visit PopSugar.

MTV Asks: Which 2011 Pattinson Film Do You Most Want to See?

With three films coming out in 2011, Rob Pattinson is set to have a very busy year.  Water for Elephants is scheduled to be in theatres on April 15.  Breaking Dawn Part 1 will be out on Nov. 18.  Bel Ami’s release date is currently set for sometime in August.   Each role is very different and should show some diversity from the actor most famous for being Edward Cullen.  So head over to MTV and let them know which film you are most excited about.  Leave a comment below telling us which film you think will push Rob the furthest as an actor.

Cast Members DVD Signings at Best Buy Friday and Saturday!

THE TWILIGHT SAGA

Cast members from one of the most-talked-about-films of 2010, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, will be celebrating the holiday season with their fans at several Best Buy locations across the country. Summit Entertainment and Best Buy are partnering to host in-store autograph signings, giving the perfect holiday gift a special touch for its recipient. The first 200 customers to line up at each event location can receive an autograph from the cast member in attendance, with the purchase of any The Twilight Saga: Eclipse DVD, Blu-ray or Combo Pack. Lines will open two hours prior to each event start time.

Vote for Your Celeb of the Year at E!

Both Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have made it through to round 4 in E!’s 2010 Celeb of the Year on-line voting contest.  They beast out Anne Hathaway and Ryan Reynolds in the last round and are now up against Sandra Bullock and Leonardo DiCaprio.  With only eight celebs left, voting is vital!  Visit the E! site and vote for your favorites!  Voting ends Friday Dec. 17.

Twilight Social Networking Year in Review

As is typical near the end of the year, lists of all kinds are being made for the top spots in all sorts of media outlets.  The Twilight Examiner did a great job of compiling some of this information.   The Twilight Saga: Eclipse trailer was one of “the most-searched movie trailers on Google this year” according to the Hollywood Reporter.  Likewise, Eclipse was the second most talked about movie on Facebook after Toy Story 3 and the seventh most talked about movie on Twitter after such films as Inception, Deathly Hallows Part 1, and The Last Airbender.  We’ve also found that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are the most Googled pair on the internet beating out Brad and Angelina.  And Lastly, The Eclipse trailer was in the top 10 of the most watched videos on YouTube.  Considering how full our inbox is with Google alerts for all things Twilight, we can’t say that any of these stats really surprise us!  How about you – let us know if you’re surprised in the comments.

Ty Olsson Cast as Phil Dwyer in Breaking Dawn

Summit Entertainment has confirmed that Ty Olsson has been cast as Phil Dwyer, Bella’s Step-Father, in Breaking Dawn.  Fans of sci-fi shows like Defying Gravity and Battlestar Galactica may recognize Ty as a series regular.  He most recently appeared in the TV show Shattered.  Let us know if you think he fits your impression of Renee’s baseball playing husband.

Bree Tanner Runner Up for Fav YA Book of 2010

Hollywood Crush allowed readers to vote last week for their favorite YA novel of the year.  The winner was Richelle Mead’s “Last Sacrifice,” book six in the Vampire Academy series.  “The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner” came in second with “Mockingjay” by Suzanne Collins coming in third.  Let us know how you feel about the results and what your choice for best YA book of the year was in the comment.

Harry Gregson-Williams Not Involved With Breaking Dawn

The IMDB, as we have mentioned before, can be wildly inaccurate. it’s like Wikipedia in that anyone can edit the information. Notable errors in the past have been listing Emily Browning for the role of Bella after Kristen Stewart was cast, and listing Brenna Lee Roth as playing Emily in Eclipse. Another recent error has cropped up and the Soundtrack Examiner ran down the story regarding composer Harry Gregson-Williams being involved with Breaking Dawn.

I read rumblings on the Internet about you being in talks to score the fourth TWILIGHT movie, BREAKING DAWN. Is there any truth to that?

No, not at all. The only bit of truth to that rumor might be in a fifth grade Manhattan Beach Middle School. [Laughs] My daughter is very keen on me to do this. She’s crazy about the TWILIGHT series. But no, there is absolutely no truth to that rumor at all. I haven’t heard anything about it at all. I know nothing about. When it comes to fourths, SHREK is as far as I go!
