Comic Con 2011 Camping For Twi Hards

This from Summit:

“THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN – PART 1 is the first scheduled Comic-Con panel on Thursday, July 21!

Please let all of your readers know, and make sure to tell them to start camping on Wednesday to guarantee their seats inside of Hall H!

More info to come as the date approaches…”

For those of you who have tickets (they are sold out) and have never done Comic Con before, Hall H is the big hall at Comic Con. The camping area is the far South end of the convention center where there is a large plaza. Fans sleep out to get a spot in Hall H (roughly holds 6,000 people). In our favor, Breaking Dawn is on Thursday, not considered a big day like Friday and Saturday. However whatever is in Hall H that day will all be vying for seats. The way it works is first come first serve to the seats. So camping out gives you a better shot at getting one, because people can sit in Hall H all day waiting for whatever the big show they want. Depending on how popular whatever is scheduled after the Twilight panel is will determine how intense that camp out crowd is.

Teen Wolf vs. Jacob Black: Tyler Posey Sounds Off On Who Would Win

Tyler Posey is doing press in the UK for the MTV original show Teen Wolf that is about to debut in the UK.  He talked with Metro UK about who might come out on top in a battle of the wolves.

“The biggest change, though, has also posed the greatest challenge – creating a wolf with brooding sex appeal amid all that hair. ‘We didn’t want him to look like a puppy,’ says Davis. ‘I always say the other shows have werewolves you can pet, we have ones you can kiss. They’re sexy but could rip your throat out.’

So does that mean the (currently single) Posey could trounce his buff Twilight rival Taylor Lautner in a fight? ‘You know, Taylor’s a cool dude,’ says Posey gallantly. ‘I think he’s got me beat right now in the fitness region. But in a werewolf fight? He actually turns into a full-on wolf and I turn into this half-man, half-werewolf creature. I dunno –  I would have opposable thumbs, so maybe that would win, as he’s got paws. Maybe I could use them to gouge his eyes out.”

Judi Shekoni Chats With The Creative Pop Culture Community

Judi Shekoni who plays Zafrina in Breaking Dawn, chatted with The Creative Pop Culture Community about her Breaking Dawn experience and what is next on her plate.

“What are some characteristics of Zafrina you like?

“She is strong and powerful, she also is in touch with nature. I have a deep respect to nature and the environment and so love playing a character that is so connected. I love her relationship with Senna as I feel that women do have a strong bond with each other and I like how they take care of each other. I think her special power is so exciting, I am very interested in the human mind and its capabilities so I am fascinated by her mental special powers and it gave me a chance to explore what it would be like to have it and how it would work. I also like her connection with the baby – as it shows her motherly instincts.”

Peter Facinelli Would Love to Portray Italian-American Prize Fighter

Peter Facinelli comments on the role of Vinny “Paz” Pazienza and the Jersey Shore stereotype:

“Peter Facinelli is best known for playing a duo of doctors – Carlisle in “The Twilight Saga” and Coop in “Nurse Jackie” – but he might be stripping down to a pair of boxer’s shorts for a new role as in-the-ring champ Vinny Paz.

“I’m attached to it,” Peter told AccessHollywood.com of the film-in-the works, based on the life story of the Italian-American former world champ, who formerly went by Vinny Pazienza. “It’s pending script. Right now the script’s being written, so if the script is up to par, I’d love to do it.

“I’ve met Vinny Paz and I think his story is very inspirational,” Peter added. “It’d be fun to do a boxing movie.”

If everything works out, the role would mean a lot of training for the actor, to take on the champ’s shape.

“Yeah, for sure. Once I take on that role,” Peter said of changing his body type. “Vinny has a very specific shape to his body and I’d have to get my body to match his and get into fighting shape. I just think he has more bulk on him, so I would have to bulk up a little bit more.”
