Taylor Lautner Films Movie Awards Clip

Last year both Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner filmed clips for the MTV Movie Awards with Tom Cruise, who was in heavy make-up doing his Les Grossman persona. (see video below). Well according to On Location Vacations, it looks like MTV has something up their sleeves again this year.

“A couple days ago we broke the news that Taylor Lautner was going to be filming in New York City for one day, but at the time we weren’t quite sure what the shoot was for.

Thanks to one of our readers, Ariella, we found out that Taylor was indeed in NYC today filming under the title “Movie Awards”. We can only assume the shoot was a sketch for the upcoming MTV Movie awards which will air on June 5th.

Ariella spotted Taylor filming in a cab outside of City Stage around W 19th and 9th in NYC. They definitely did a good job keeping the shoot under wraps since, according to Ariella, there were no fans around.”

The Host Making Waves at Cannes

TheHostPBAccording to Variety:

“Inferno Entertainment has nearly pre-sold all international territories for Stephenie Meyer’s pic “The Host,” one of the hot titles at this year’s Cannes market.

Pic, helmed by Andrew Niccol (who also adapted the screenplay of Meyer’s tome), is produced by Paula Mae Schwartz, Steve Schwartz, Nick Wechsler and Meyer while Inferno’s Marc Butan, Jim Seibel and Bill Johnson are exec-producers. Roger Schwartz serves as co-producer.

Producers are financing the pic with Inferno, which kicked off sales with a bang in Cannes last week. Meyer descended upon the Croisette to meet with buyers. The efforts proved worthwhile as pic had bidding wars in multiple territories all keen to get their hands on the next project from the woman behind the “Twilight” cash cow.

Pic is eyeing a January start date.”

Ashley Greene Talks to 17 About Twilight’s End

17 Magazine interviewed Ashley for her new movie called Skateland:

17: Speaking of the end, how do you feel about getting so close to the end of Twilight

AG: It’s bittersweet. It’s like high school. You’re excited to graduate, but at the same time, you’re going to miss your friends. But we know we haven’t seen the last of each other—we still have a couple of years with the press tours and premieres.

17: Your Skateland co-star Shiloh Fernandez was almost Edward Cullen. Did you guys ever talk about that?

AG: Yeah, we certainly had discussions about (Twilight director) Catherine Hardwicke. We both had the same opinion on her: she’s just fantastic. She’s wild and crazy and eccentric and very fun to work with.”

Kristen Stewart Loves Jodi Foster, Van Morrison, and Vancouver

Kristen Stewart has recently commented on some of her likes and influences:

According to Contact Music:

“One of my favourite actresses is Jodie Foster. I think this has a lot to do with me starring in my first movie with her. I watched her a lot on set. Jodie is not the kind of person to give advice, but she was definitely a strong influence on me.”

Kristen’s influences don’t only come from her professional peers, she also is a huge music fan and admits her favourite artists have had an effect on her.

She added: “I’m a bit of an old soul when it comes to my musical tastes. My all-time favourite song is ‘Madame George’ by Van Morrison. That song never gets old to me. There’s something comforting and raw about it.”

According to MSN UK:

“”We shot most of the Twilight series in Vancouver. I fell in love with it – it’s such a beautiful city. I found the climate so different from what I’m used to in Los Angeles.

“The air is clean and fresh and there are beautiful mountain views everywhere. But I didn’t get to go out as much as I would have liked.”

Another firm favourite location of Stewart’s was Italy – thanks to the food.

“When we shot Twilight: New Moon in Italy, I tried all different kinds of pasta dishes – Alfredo, fettuccine with cream, basil and Romano cheese and gnocchi with seafood. I suddenly took an interest in cooking. It was amazing. It’s now my favourite cuisine,” she said.”
