Professional Fangirl Alice Meets Alice
Alice in NYC on Twitter is a self-proclaimed professional fangirl. She’s ended up in almost every single MTV “My Celebrity BFF” post. So Next Movie had her cover Ashely Greene and Pan Am
Like many of you, I’ve always had a bit of an obsession with pop culture and celebrities. Growing up in the New York area, I was always going to concerts and signings in an attempt to get up close and personal with some of my favorites.
About two years ago, I turned the fascination into a full-time hobby … and have since met more celebrities than I can even remember — Robert Pattinson, Emma Watson, Carey Mulligan and George Clooney among them. Now, the fine folks at NextMovie have tasked me, Professional Fan Girl, with recounting my run-ins with movie stars and sharing my adventures at premieres, awards shows, etc. with you.
I didn’t waste any time getting my meet-and-greet on. Today’s special: “Twilight” starlet Ashley Greene as she filmed a guest appearance on ABC Television’s “Pan Am” in Manhattan today.

Christopher Heyerdahl is Down With the Twilight Fandom
Usually we try to present actor interviews in an unbiased light. We’re going to make an exception with this one. Christopher Heyerdahl is in our experience the most gracious actor in the cast. He answers questions thoughtfully and intelligently, and we’ve seen him go out of his way on many occasions to make a fan’s day even when he is dog tired. He has our utmost respect and admiration. He is as they say the gentleman’s gentleman.
Collider has a fantastic interview up with Chris, and it’s a must read folks! Here is part:
You’ve been on just about all of the favorite shows of any sci-fi fan, along with being in the Twilight films. What’s it been like to have the support of genre fans, with as dedicated and loyal as they are?
HEYERDAHL: The great thing about genre fans is that they’re not afraid to say who they are. A lot of other fandoms keep it a little bit closer to the chest. Genre fans are right out there. I went down [to Atlanta] to do Dragon*Con, which for the genre fans is the biggest fan-run convention out there, and there’s a huge parade where everyone is flying their flags and there’s so much support. Atlanta just comes out to observe. It’s pretty hard not to get involved and get swept along, literally and figuratively, by these massive amounts of people in this huge parade. It’s quite an amazing event.
So, being supported by a group of people like that is certainly a lot better than not being supported because they’ll let you know that as well. There are a lot of straightforward truths that have come out of a fandom like that. People in that fandom are very honest about how they feel. Because of that, shows rise and fall purely based on fandom, much more so than viewership, like with other shows. Fandom can keep something alive, and fandom can take it down. There’s a lot of power there, so because of that, there’s an enormous amount of, hopefully, mutual respect. So, I’m down with that fandom.

Hypable is reporting the following:
Bloomberg is reporting that two movie studios well known to our readers – Summit Entertainment and Lionsgate – are in talks to merge.
Though it wouldn’t cause much that typical moviegoers would notice, it’d certainly be beneficial for Lionsgate’s The Hunger Games franchise given Summit has experience from turning Twilight into a major financial success.

Carolina Herrera Talks Behind the Scenes on the Wedding Dress With Glamour UK
Carolina Herrera talked to Glamour UK about being involved with the Bella’s Wedding Gown.
For months we were help in suspense waiting to find out what the Twilight wedding dress would look like – and we’ve finally seen the dress, and can now even buy the Alfred Angelo replica. But what was it like to land the coveted role of designing The Dress? And what was it like working with Kristen Stewart?
“In the initial fitting when Kristen put the dress on and looked in the mirror, she was very moved,” Carolina Herrera told Vogue in an interview. “In that moment she was not an actress or a character in a film, she was a bride, and a happy one at that. It is always very important to make the bride happy, of course, and in this case I was delighted to do so. It was a very special moment for both Kristen and the character of Bella to share.”
Most women will probably opt to get the more affordable version from Alfred Angelo, but you can get the upscale version (over $10,000) from Herrera.
