Rob Pattinson Says Birth Scene “Tears Out My Heart”

Compiling a list of the most anticipated movies hitting theatres this fall, The Chicago Sun Times has a few quotes from Rob Pattinson about Breaking Dawn Pt. 1.

“I’m curious to see how it will carry out,” star Robert Pattinson tells the Sun-Times. “This movie is so different from the other ones. The stakes are so much higher because now it’s time to turn the entire saga upside down.”

“The birth scene is frightening,” Pattinson admits. “It’s a slap in the face. It’s failure to Edward, who has to choose between losing Bella and transforming her. It’s the toughest scene I’ve ever had to film in my career because this choice tears out my heart.”

Other films covered include Warrior, Contagion, and The Ides of March.

The Official Best Of, based in Hollywood, CA has researchers in Hollywood and other parts of the country that spend at least 2 months per state compiling a collection of the very best attractions and destinations in each given state. Once the research is complete and destinations are chosen in a state, a show is produced and aired. Each state’s show is promoted within that state as well as on a national level.

Each feature is also featured on the OfficialBestOf.com website. One distinction that sets Official Best Of apart from many other travel sites is that it doesn’t accept advertising on either its television programs or its website. The selection of attractions is entirely by merit, and lesser known but worthy attractions are given the same attention as famous ones.

As with each state production, The Official Best of Washington for 2011 will offer a great resource for those planning a vacation, day trip or outing for residents within the State ofWashington as well as out-of-town visitors. Official Best Of is currently working on covering all 50 states. Visit www.OfficialBestOf.com to see the states already featured.

Another Twilight Parody Movie On The Horizon

The Twilight Examiner did a great job running down this story.

“Back in April, we talked about the fact that another Twilight spoof movie was being developed – after the lackluster Vampires Suck, this seemed a little improbable, but still – and now a few details about the film, which will be called Breaking Wind, have been unveiled…the film comes from Craig Moss, who did The 41-Year-Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It.”

Check out the full details on the story over at Twilight Examiner.

Did you watch Vampires Suck? What did you think? Are you up for another Twilight spoof movie?

Edward’s Meadow Does Twilight Spoof

The folks at Edward’s Meadow are probably best know to Lexicon readers as the people who do the yearly “Battle of the Twilight Bands”. They have just done something new and created their own spoof. Aside from the video below, check out their website for outtakes, bloopers, etc.

Wonder Twin Power: ***Twilight****

Sorry about the title, but I couldn’t resist spoofing something from my childhood! Nikki Reed explains it all to you in the photo below that she just tweeted. She says, “@peterfacinelli directed a skit for @collegehumor…here’s a pic of us on set as The Wonder Twins! It comes out in a wk-keep you posted”

Rumor Control: No Twilight Video Game In the Works

Yes, we know that Bronson Pelletier at a red carpet event talked about being in a motion capture suit and that he thought it was for a video game. Turns out he was wrong. Summit Entertainment has confirmed for us that, “There is no video game featuring the world of THE TWILIGHT SAGA currently in development.”

We are guessing that the motion capture suit was for CGI for the actual film rather than a video game.

This didn’t surprise us too much in that there haven’t been games for the previous movies and traditionally female-driven fandoms tend not to get video games. The largest gaming element is male teens-30’s, and since that isn’t exactly the Twilight demographic, games are unlikely.

Abduction VIP Fan Premiere

VIP Fan Premieres for Abduction will be taking place in several US cites on Sept. 15, 2011.  You can join the event by buying a $30 ticket which not only gets you into the film early but also includes a decent prize pack of the items pictured below.  Tickets go on sale Sept. 12, and we’re guessing they will sell out quickly.  Please note that none of the information we’ve seen states that Taylor Lautner will be at any of these events.  So don’t spend money thinking that a “premiere” means that Taylor will be in attendance.   But you would still get to see the film ahead of it’s national release as well as walk away with some great merch!

The event is taking place in the following cities:

Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Las Vegas, Miami, New York, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburg, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington DC.

For more information, visit the Abduction Facebook page.
