Stephenie Meyer Day in Forks News
In November 2012, Forever in Forks raised $2,500 for Alex’s Lemonade Stand at their annual Forever Party with the help of TWILIGHT talent like Gil Birmingham, Tracey Heggins, Ayanna Berkshire and more. Now, Stephenie Meyer Day and Forever in Forks are coming together to raise $5,000 in support of Stand Up 2 Cancer. The 2013 Forever Party will be taking place during Stephenie Meyer Day weekend, which runs Sept. 12-15, and will feature the event’s official TWILIGHT lookalikes, the Olympic Coven.
“Partnering with Forever in Forks is a natural fit for Stephenie Meyer Day and the Olympic Coven,” said Staci Chastain, organizer of Stephenie Meyer Day 2013. “Like us, they’re committed to providing the best fan experience possible, and we’re thrilled that 100 per cent of the party’s proceeds will be benefiting Stand Up 2 Cancer.”
The Forever in Forks party is being held at The Round House on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 6 p.m. – midnight. The party will feature a buffet dinner catered by Self Catering of Forks; an open bar; free photo booths; a silent auction and raffle of signed TWILIGHT merchandise; and a special surprise that’s guaranteed to top last year’s party in Los Angeles. While Forever in Forks can’t confirm the attendance of celebrity guests at this time, the Olympic Coven will be on hand for photo opportunities and to interact with guests.
“Having the Olympic Coven attend our party this year will provide a whole new level of fun and interaction for our party-goers,” said Sharon Lottes, founder and event planner of Forever in Forks. “They’ll get to hang out and take photos with their favorite TWILIGHT characters come to life – what could be better than that?”
