See the Original Twilight Movie in Cafeteria Movie Location

The high school in Portland where the original Twilight movie was shot is due to me demolished in a complete revamp of that site. However, before that happens, you can see the iconic movie in that location:

The event is being put on by Meyers House NC, a company that specializes in such screenings. Details below and on the Meyers House website

“Who is he?” “That’s Edward Cullen. He’s totally gorgeous, obviously, but apparently nobody here is good enough for him. Like I care, you know? So yeah, seriously, like, don’t waste your time.” “Wasn’t planning on it”…

The Myers House NC presents a very special one night only ON SET CINEMA screening of Twilight! Join me on Saturday, March 9th, 2019 in Portland, Oregon at Madison High School …aka Forks High School from the movie! This is where the majority of the interiors of the school were filmed. I will be screening the movie inside the cafeteria where Bella (Kristen Stewart) sees Edward (Robert Pattinson) and the Cullens for the first time. Twilighters will have the opportunity to see the classroom where Edward not only realizes how much he thirsts for Bella’s blood, but where Edward and Bella first get to know each other in science class. Fanpires will also be able to check out Bella’s locker. This truly is a once in a lifetime opportunity to watch the movie in this location because unfortunately 3 months after this screening the school will be completely reconstructed and the locations as we know them will be gone forever. So hold on tight spider monkeys, we’re going to Forks!

Stephenie Meyer’s The Chemist to be a TV Series

According to Deadline Hollywood:

Stephenie Meyer and Meghan Hibett will produce via their Fickle Fish Films banner, along with Tomorrow Studios’ Adelstein and Becky Clements.

“Stephenie is one of the most prolific authors of our time with her unique portrayal of heroines that resonate with readers and television viewers around the world, and we look forward to working with her and Meghan on bringing the The Chemist to television,” said Adelstein.

 

There is no further information on anticipated time frame the series would debut.

Final Auction of Twilight Saga Movie Memorabilia: Online Auction November 6th – 17th

The Prop Store is having one final auction of props, costumes, etc used in the Twilight movies.

The Chemist Giveaway

Twilight Movie Collection Opens in Forks May 20

The Forks Chamber of Commerce is excited to unveil the Forever Twilight in Forks Collection, viewable only in Forks, Washington. The Collection will open at the Rainforest Arts Center at noon on May 20, 2017 to VIPs, members of the press and fans of Twilight and movie memorabilia. Throughout the year, the gallery will be open to visitors and will feature a volunteer Docent Program for fans.

At the gallery, view screen-worn costumes and actual props used by Twilight Saga actors. This gallery features a blend of book, movie and unique Forks-centric pieces, including authentic movie props and costumes, The Twilight Series novels from all over the world, an art piece made of The Twilight Series books, a backdrop for photo-ops and other interesting memorabilia right in the heart of downtown Forks, Washington at the Rainforest Arts Center – located at the town’s only traffic light! Entry to the gallery is free, but donations are gladly accepted.

Lissy Andros, the Forks Chamber of Commerce Executive Director shares,

“As Twilight fans ourselves, we are so happy to have these amazing pieces to share with the public and our fandom family. This phenomenon has been the most interesting, fun experience, and we look forward to what the future holds!”

Highlights from the Collection include: Jacob Black’s motorcycle, costumes worn by actors Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, Jacob’s letter to Bella, Sam Uley’s Jorts, props from Bella and Edward’s wedding, plus so much more and some very special surprises!

The City of Forks, Washington and the story of Twilight will be forever connected: on screen, in the stories, in the minds of fans and within the pop culture lexicon. To celebrate and honor this connection, Forks is proud to open the doors of their Forever Twilight in Forks Collection to the world.
