Update on the Lexicon’s Movie Event for Breaking Dawn Part 2

Hello everyone!  For those of you who attended last year’s event, you should have received an e-mail from us all ready.  If you did not get an e-mail, please log in and leave us a comment so that we can contact you.  Of, if you would like information, please contact us at [email protected].

Thank you to everyone who has already e-mailed us.  We have really appreciated your support!

Video: Featurette on Breaking Dawn Part 2

This new featurette focuses on Renesmee and the need for the Cullens to bring in support to fight the Volturi.  There are a lot of short but new interviews as well as few new scenes shown as they are being filmed.  We see Carlisle addressing the Volturi as well as seeing a wide shot of Bella and Renesmee walking toward Aro.  Let us know what you think of it in the comments!

Update on The Premiere FanCamp

We got this in from Summit/Lionsgate a few hours ago.  Again, we can’t stress that we know as much as you do at this point, so please just read all the information below and breathe!

Dear Twilight Fans,

Summit Entertainment is pleased to announce that we are able to increase the size of Fan Camp from 1200 to 1500 campers!  Confirmation emails are going out soon, so please check your inbox to see if your registration was selected for camp, as well as further instructions and details.

Unfortunately, even with this increase in camp size, we still aren’t able to admit all of the registrants this year (due to the overwhelming number that we received!).  Fear not, if your registration was not selected in the random drawing, you will be notified via email today and will receive instructions on how to add yourself or your group to the wait list.
Please read it carefully.  You must notify us within 48 hours if you wish to be added to the wait list.  Please Note:  No new registrations will be accepted.  The wait list is only for campers who received a registration confirmation during the initial registration window.

Confirmed Campers: Please be courteous to your fellow Twihards! If you can no longer attend, let us know as soon as possible at [email protected] so that we can admit campers off the wait list.  Your confirmation is not transferable (i.e. you cannot give it to a friend).

Please know that Summit is currently working on sourcing additional camp space so that we can admit more campers, but until we do, please make sure you get on the wait list in the event that there are cancellations.

Thank you for your patience during this entire process and, as always, thanks for your tremendous support of The Twilight Saga!

Team Twilight (aka Summit Entertainment)

Video: Four Years TV Spot Featuring the Fandom!

We thought this TV spot was fun simply because it features the fandom rather than just the films.  If you find yourself in the crowd shots, let us know in the comments!

Bill Condon and Jack Morrissey Among Film Museum Backers

It looks like the historic May Building in Downtown Hollywood is being converted to a film museum slated to open in 2016. A number of film studios including Lionsgate are making donations, and they have some impressive patrons contributing to the 250 million dollar project.

According to the Hollywood Reporter

The Academy’s board of governors approved the plans unanimously at a meeting Wednesday night. The Academy and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, which owns the May Co. building, have agreed to a 55-year lease, with a 55-year option to renew, the Academy said.

Launched in early 2012 by campaign chair Bob Iger and co-chairs Annette Bening and Tom Hanks, the campaign has raised $100 million through private donations toward a $250 million goal, which includes an endowment that will support the museum’s operations. “The early response to our fund-raising campaign has been outstanding and is incredibly encouraging,” Iger said.

The campaign chairs and their families have all made donations, along with such past Academy governors, presidents and their families as Bill Condon and Jack Morrissey, Richard and Bonnie Cook, Rob and Shari Friedman, Sid and Nancy Ganis, Jim and Ann Gianopulos, Gale Anne Hurd, Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall, Hawk and Molly Koch, John and Nancy Lasseter, Walter Mirisch and Lawrence Mirisch, Bob and Kay Rehme and Tom and Madeleine Sherak.

Taylor Lautner Ranks on Best Werewolf of All Time List

E! has put together a list of the best werewolves of all time, and Taylor Lautner is on it. Michael Sheen also made the list as his Underworld character.

“Since this list is in no particular order, why not get the barely-legal but oh-so-buff Twilight wolf pup out of the way first? He might not get the girl, but his abs outshine even Edward Cullen’s. And we’ll howl to that.”
