Thanks to the video we now know what Christian Serratos’ favorite book in the series is.
Twilight stars Visit Naval Exchange
According to the local Fox affiliate:
“Yeah, it’s a lot of pressure,” said actress Christian Serratos, who played ‘Angela’ in the movie. “I mean nobody really wants to disappoint these fans.”
Organizers say the event was a way to thank the military families for all they go through.
“It’s really geared towards the military families, the active duty and their dependents, “Robin Joseph, General Manager of the Navy Exchange Oceana Complex told WAVY News 10. “And it’s just a great opportunity for the stars to give back to the military community.”
That goal wasn’t lost on Serratos.
“One, you’re getting to see some really cool stuff and on the other hand you’re grateful to these people who are risking their lives,” she said. “It’s awesome.”
After their appearance at the Exchange, the cast members toured the base, visited a squadron and saw a F/A-18 Super Hornet.”

New Moon Cast to Appear at Navy Exchange
Last year Peter Facinelli won over the heart of thousands when he stopped by the Naval Exchange and signed DVD’s for everyone. In fact he missed his flight because he refused to leave until every person got a signed DVD. This year the cast visiting the exchange has expanded. Local military families with appropriate Naval ID entered a lottery and 300 were chosen to meet the cast members. According to Hampton Roads:
“The Oceana Navy Exchange expects a cast member from “Twilight: New Moon” to make an in-store appearance from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, base officials announced… 300 customers will have chances to have their pictures taken with the mystery celebrity. ”
The stars appearing are Nikki Reed, Alex Meraz, Daniel Cudmore, Christian Serratos, and Tyson Housmen.
Twilight Convention Takes San Francisco
KTVU.COM has an article about the Creation Entertainment Twilight Convention happening now in San Francisco. The list of guests this weekend include Charlie Bewley, Daniel Cudmore, and the Wolf Pack. Stars Hit the Convention Circuit
Peter Facinelli talked to The Tennessean about why he choses to do conventions and signing events.
“What are these conventions like for you?
Whenever you have something in common and get together and share your excitement, it’s a great thing. There are Q-and-As with the actors; you get to take pictures with them, get autographs, signatures with them. For me, it’s a fun way to connect with the fans and just have a moment where they can ask questions.
I’m a fan of the books, and I actually enjoy getting together with other fans of the books. When I was a kid growing up, if I looked up to somebody, if I could have been sitting down with Paul Newman to talk about Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, that would have been really exciting. I look at it the other way around now, being able to sit down with fans of the movies. I love to be able to give back, in that sense.”
Peter is appearing in Nashville this weekend at the Creation Convention with: Michael Welch, Gil Birmingham(just added), Daniel Cudmore, Charlie Bewley, Kiowa Gordon, and Bronson Pelletier.
You can catch other stars at upcoming events:
Chaske Spencer at a Worchester Sharks Hockey Game.

FearNet: Daniel Cudmore Interview
Jen Yamato of FearNet is back with yet another great interview:
“FEARnet: What’s it been like to jump into this huge Twilight phenomenon?
Daniel Cudmore: It’s been great! It’s such a big film. On the first film, they did such a good job of identifying what Stephenie Meyer had written, and you come into New Moon knowing that you already have this great audience from the books and a great audience from the first film. New Moon compared to the book has so much more action – you’re bringing in the werewolves, you’re bringing in the Volturi, so now you have a new audience of males that can watch this and really enjoy it. You step into this great film and it’s just fun to play a cool character and just enjoy yourself with it.
You’ve mentioned before that you originally auditioned for a different part than Felix. What part was it?
It was one of the guys outside the bar who try to pick up Bella, one of the bikers.”
