It’s hard to pick out Kellan who plays Poseidon in the trailer. The movie releases right before Breaking Dawn part I comes out. According to Nikki on Twitter he’s at the 1:41 mark (don’t blink)

We just received the following email from the non-profit organization Characters of Character:

“Characters of Character is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing tools and resources to parents and educators nationwide to help teach children nine positive character traits. We believe that introducing these traits at a younger age will create a better-quality society for everyone. Our organization has developed a unique way to reach children and help them internalize the nine traits that we focus on. Our Characters allow children to identify with the traits correlating with each Character.

Our organization recently received a donation from Summit that included a bunch of Eclipse merchandise, as well as a donation from Kellan Lutz of a signed Eclipse DVD & t-shirt. We’re using these donations to help raise funds and awareness for our organization. Kellan Lutz has been working with the St. Bernard Project in the New Orleans area to help those that are still left homeless from the effects of hurricane Katrina.  This Mardi Gras, Kellan will be serving as the grand marshal for their “Get On The Float” campaign.  You can donate or volunteer to help out, and as a bonus be entered to win autographed Twilight memorabilia and a shout out on Kellan’s twitter.  Read more about the project and how you can get involved.

Kellan Lutz just tweeted the latest update regarding is fundraising efforts for the St. Bernard Project. In the photo above, Kellan was snapped with fellow Breaking Dawn cast members Rami Malek and Casey LeBow as they helped to rebuild homes in the New Orleans area. Kellan is trying to raise $40,000. He has donated $15,000 of his own money to kick the drive off. Here’s the latest message from Kellan:

It’s Mardi Gras season in New Orleans and there are still many families whose homes were flooded by Katrina 5 1/2 years ago and have not been able to rebuild and move home. So I’m doing something about it.  I’m the Grand Marshal of the St. Bernard Project’s Get on the Float campaign and am funding a family’s home by donating personally and raising money from the cast and crew of Twilight.


Now I need my fans to join me too. Donate any amount to St. Bernard Project and you’ll be entered in the drawing. Grand Prize winners will get autographed Twilight memorabilia signed by me and other members of the Twilight cast.

Until I was in New Orleans and saw the devastation first hand I had no idea about the extent of the enduring needs. I met families who were still living in FEMA trailers or their gutted homes over five years after Katrina. The good news is that there’s a solution: the St. Bernard Project can rebuild a family’s home in 12 weeks for about $15,000-$20,000. They’ve done over 350 so far!

There is also rumor today that Kellan may be up for the next Bourne movies, Kellan has been a huge fan of the franchise and has said many times that he’d love to play a Jason Bourne-type character.
