Kristen Stewart Covenant House Birthday Project

The ladies over at Twilightish wrote in to tell us about this and we are happy to jump on board for a worthy cause.

Here’s part of what the ladies at Twilightish said about this effort:

“To celebrate Kristen Stewart’s birthday on April 9th, Twilightish, PattzStewGlobal and the “Saturday Sites” (see below**) have joined together to raise money for Covenant House, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping child runaways get off the streets.

In her recent Vogue interview, Kristen said that “Her plan is to find a way to help teenage runaways get back on their feet, a subject close to her heart after her role in Welcome to the Rileys.”  What better birthday present than to help fulfill Kristen’s wish?

We’ll be promoting Covenant House on our websites until April 9th, Kristen’s birthday, at which point all funds raised will be given to Covenant House in Kristen Stewart’s name.

Palak Patel, the co-producer for Snow White and the Huntsman, tweeted the following about the casting of Kristen as the title character.

KStew is officially playing Snow White and her deal is in final negotiations and will close next week.

Other cast members are rumored to be Charlize Theron as the evil queen and Viggo Mortensen as the Huntsman.  The film is currently scheduled to be released Dec 21, 2012, giving Kristen the possibility of having two films in theatres at the same time depending on when Breaking Dawn Part 2 is released.  Tell us how you feel about seeing Kristen take on a princess in the comments.

Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning Make Best Dressed Under 25 List

MSN has selected both Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning as part of their Best Dressed Under 25 list.

“The Twilight star has carved out a style personality that finds itself somewhere between Bella Swan’s Pacific Northwest hoodies and jeans, and the rebellious aesthetic of Joan Jett, her character in The Runaways. Of course all this is glammed up by the necessities of Hollywood. Stewart may be a reluctant denizen of the spotlight, but she’s not afraid to show off her long legs in skin-baring minis. Herve Leger, Valentino, messy hair, short skirts and toned-down sparkle are her go-tos.”

Robert Pattinson Heading to the BAFTA’s As a Presenter? The Ads Certainly Suggest The Possibility

Unlike the Golden Globes and the OSCARS that do weeks of PR for their awards including name dropping presenters at regularly scheduled intervals, the BAFTA’s are more low-key. You discover who is presenting maybe days before. The show airs on February 13th.

Here’s who we think is likely to be there from the Twilight cast in a presenting role assuming Breaking Dawn filming allows:

Robert Pattinson: As a UK Robert Pattinson site points out his face is splashed all over their promotional ads in the London Tube and in their TV adverts. He presented last year and with Water for Elephants, Bel Ami, and Breaking Dawn coming out this year he’s a big attraction. Also given his age, it’s a way to get younger viewers to tune in.

Kristen Stewart: Last year she won the Rising Star Award. It’s a bit of a tradition for the previous year’s winner to present the statue to the current year’s winner. See video below.

Michael Sheen: He’s producing a Passion Play for his hometown in Wales, Port Talbot. In the fall he’s slated to do Hamlet at the Old Vic, and then there are all the mega-hits he’s in from Alice in Wonderland to Tron to Breaking Dawn and then the smaller films like Midnight in Paris that’s currently in production.  He’s practically the poster boy for local Welsh Boy Makes Good.

Long shot: Jamie Campbell-Bower is making a name for himself starring as King Arthur in the upcoming Camelot. He’s also in the final Harry Potter movies. We’re actually wondering if Jamie might appear as a future Rising Star nominee.

Anna Kendrick: She was there last year for Up in the Air. She’s also a bit of an anglophile following UK shows like The X-Factor where she made a guest appearance this season.

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner Make Vanity Fair’s Top 40 List 2010

Every year Vanity Fair creates the Top 40 in their March issue list that covers the biggest Hollywood earners. Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner all hit this year’s list with the likes of other big-time Hollywood names such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Will Smith, and Sandra Bullock.

Here’s a preview of what they had to say about the Twilight connection:

“We can also look to the Twilight kids. That franchise also landed three people on the list.

Speaking of—how did Taylor Lautner find his way in Hollywood’s top 10 earners?

He’s perhaps the highest-paid teenage star right now. When they first negotiated their contracts, they were getting paid a lot less. Then, with the immense success of the film, the agents went back and renegotiated the deal—Lautner’s deal, in particular, was really bumped up. He was actually getting less than the other two stars at the beginning of the Twilight series. For this last installment that they split into two parts, they really ratcheted it up. He’s now paid on par with the others.”

Nylon Magazine just informed us that:

“Today, we’re giving away a DVD of Welcome to the Rileys, an independent drama where Stewart plays a teen prostitute living in post-Katrina New Orleans.

Kristen Stewart in Vogue:Includes Photo and Video

News of this being on newsstands came out this week. Vogue has now put the information online.

“Kristen Stewart’s body can tell a million stories. Kinetic, she jiggles, feints, and darts as she talks, hanging back, looking off to the side, signaling resistance, a combative intelligence. “The word I always use for her is vulpine,” says Jake Scott, who recently directed her in Welcome to the Rileys, in which she plays a teenage runaway and lap dancer. “Foxlike. She’s got that way of moving and being that you often find in her performances, a sort of wiliness.”

In other words, Stewart projects the kind of wary, rebellious edge that is so much more typical of her age group—she is 20—than gleeful high spirits, which is probably one reason she is head and shoulders above her peers in Hollywood’s power pyramid, and a director’s darling. Scott heard about her from his friend Sean Penn after Penn cast her as the unmoored daughter of hippie parents in the memorable Into the Wild. “Sean said, ‘You’ve gotta see this kid,’ ” Scott recalls. “ ‘She’s just so alive!’ ” For Bill Condon, currently ensconced in a year’s worth of filming for Breaking Dawn, the two-part finale of the mighty Twilight Saga, “Kristen was at the top of my list of reasons to do this movie.”
