MTV takes a look at the birth scene and how emotional it was for Stephenie Meyer to watch. The authors felt that Rob nailed the scene. What did you think? If the video isn’t working, try viewing it at MTV’s site.
MTV: How to Spend Time Until Breaking Dawn Part 2
Kara Warner over at MTV tweeted out a question yesterday: “How are you passing the time from now until November 16, 2012? BD2 release”
We responded along with lots of others.
Our friends at Twilight Lexicon offered a shout-out to Internet stars/comedic sister duo Hannah and Hilly Hindi’s “The Hillywood Show,” who recently reached their goal of raising $10,000 to produce a “Breaking Dawn” parody. “Looking forward to the @HillywoodShow Breaking Dawn parody. They raised 10K to do it,” the Lexicon tweeted.
Others suggested re-watching “Twilight,” “New Moon” “Eclipse” and “Breaking Dawn – Part 1” and re-reading Stephenie Meyer’s books that inspired it all.
“@Twilight movie marathons, re-reading the books for my 6th time and of course twitter :),” wrote Jimena Martinez.
Sarah M., who is one of the lovely ladies behind the Kristen Stewart’s Hot Bodyguard Facebook page, seems to be developing a budget so she can come to Los Angeles next year for the premiere and camp out again in Tent City.
“Work, work, work to save $ for Tent City 2012 and hoping for some #SWATH promos/premieres w/ Kristen & @KStewsHBG :),” Sarah tweeted, referring to Stewart’s other big movie, “Snow White and the Huntsman.”
Check out more suggestions over at MTV. What are you doing?
Mackenzie Foy and the Swear Word Bucket!
The more I see of her, the more I am in awe of this little girl! MTV talked with Mackenzie and she admitted that her cast mates had a difficult time keeping their language in check. She actually had a swear jar for them to put money in when they used foul language and then donated the money to St. Judes.
In response to our earlier post about how she wasn’t allowed to see Eclipse, well, she’s not allowed to see all of Breaking Dawn Pt. 1 either! She’s was going to have to close her eyes for some moments. One thing is clear, Mackenzie’s parents are doing a fine job of keeping her innocent in all the madness that is Hollywood!

Video: MTV After Hours
Josh Horowitz has really outdone himself with the comedy this time. We enjoyed the antics he played on the Harry Potter cast when Deathly Hallows came out by making them say American phrases. Now he plays Yes/No with the Twilight cast and the answers to some of his comedic questions might surprise you!

Bill Condon Talks Breaking Dawn Soundtrack
As many of you know from listening to the free preview of the soundtrack, there is a new version of “Flightless Bird, American Mouth.” MTV talked to director Bill Condon about revisiting the song.
“I always thought of this movie as the bookend to the first movie, and that was such a great powerful, romantic song for those characters,” he told MTV News during a phone interview last week. “It just felt right to kind of refer back to it at this important, important moment,” he added about “Breaking Dawn – Part 1,” the first of the two-part finale.
Even though Condon wouldn’t state where or when the song was used in the film, he did add that there are other pieces of music from previous films that will be revisited.
“Musically, I would say at the wedding there’s a jazz quartet that plays a couple of tracks from ‘Eclipse.’ Carter Burwell has come back to do the score. He did the first movie, so ‘Bella’s Lullaby’ features in this movie too.”

Bill Condon Talks Romance vs Sex Scene on Breaking Dawn
In a recent phone interview with MTV, Bill Condon addressed the concerns fans have had over the whole idea of a possible “R” rating for Breaking Dawn.
“It’s almost clinical the kind of strict guidelines [the MPAA] have about anything that appears to be — how do I put it delicately?
That appears to be, let’s call it thrusting. In fact, you know, it was so much more about romance than it was about hot-and-heavy action, so it was a very kind of simple adjustment to make.”
Condon wouldn’t confirm what Kristen Stewart said in Glamour about the film being re-cut to avoid the R rating. We’ve heard from both sides of the fandom – those that want it to say PG-13 and those who want the “director’s cut” version that isn’t tamed down at all. Let us know what you think in the comments.

MTV Talks to Lexicon’s Own Laura About Upcoming Clip
By sure to tune into MTV First when they will show a previously unreleased clip from Breaking Dawn Part 1 on Thursday, November 3, at 7:56 p.m. ET. Following the clip, Rob Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner will all be on hand to answer some questions from MTV and the fans. If you’d like to participate, you can submit video or text questions via MTV.com or via Twitter (using @MTVNews, plus the hashtags #AskTwilightand #MTVFirst).
Until then, MTV asked Kara from TwilightersAnonymous.com, Kallie fromTwilightSeriesTheories.com, and our very own Laura to chime in on what they were hoping to see in the clip and learn from the Q&A.
“[I would like to know] what scene are they the proudest of that they took part in,” Laura said. “In terms of end result on film.”
When asked about the excitement leading up to the release of the film, Laura said, “I’m so busy grabbing every interview and news story. It takes my mind off of it. Plus, we are planning this big private movie showing for our fans in the Nashville area, so I’ve been really busy with that.”
