MySpace Twilight Saga: New Moon Red Carpet Live Stream

MySpace will host the exclusive live stream of Summit Entertainment’s The Twilight Saga: New Moon red carpet arrivals at the world premiere on Monday, November 16 at www.myspace.com/newmoonpremiere. The unprecedented online access is the first time moviegoers across the globe can experience the premiere first-hand, as it unfolds. Viewers will also be able to take part by posting comments or questions to The Twilight Saga: New Moon Premiere MySpace page that may then be presented to the celebrities during the broadcast. The red carpet arrivals will stream live from Los Angeles beginning at 6:00 PM PT. Anya Marina, writer and performer of “Satellite Heart” on The Twilight Saga: New Moon Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, will co-host the broadcast.

Additionally, the winner of MySpace’s The Twilight Saga: New Moon Red Carpet Correspondent Contest will conduct interviews on the red carpet during the live stream and attend the premiere. The contest represents MySpace’s unique online and offline capabilities that allow users special access to once-in-a-lifetime events.

The live stream is just one component of the highly integrated MySpace campaign with The Twilight Saga: New Moon. MySpace has featured various exclusive content from the film across all areas of the site including Movies, Music, Video and homepage takeovers. MySpace Trailer Park debuted the first trailer, which was the site’s most successful to date with a total of 4.2 million online views within the first 24 hours and 7.8 million within the first seven days. MySpace Music revealed the much anticipated soundtrack listing, provided users an early free stream of the album in its entirety and devoted Featured Playlists from those affiliated with the film.
