Nikki reed talked to People magazine on how hard it is to say anything when people take your words out of context deliberately or otherwise.
“I don’t think something like Twitter is for me because I’ll just end up getting myself in trouble with what I accidentally say,” Reed told PEOPLE at Sunday’s 2010 MTV Movie Awards. “You’ve seen what’s happened to some of my other cast members recently.”
Reed, 22, says she can see why a scenario like Stewart’s turned out the way it did. “It’s unfortunate that everything everyone says gets misinterpreted, but I think things get misinterpreted when you’re looking for a way to find a subtext to what someone is saying,” she says. “It’s just the nature of this business and being a part of this film.”

According to The Press Release from Do Something and Staples:
DoSomething.org and Staples /quotes/comstock/15*!spls/quotes/nls/spls (SPLS 21.88, -0.07, -0.32%) are teaming up with actress and screenwriter, Nikki Reed, for the 3rd Annual National Staples/Do Something 101 School Supply Drive (www.dosomething101.org).
Nikki, star of this summer’s upcoming blockbuster film Twilight: Eclipse, is encouraging teens to make a difference this summer by collecting school supplies and dropping them off at their local Staples store from July 4 through September 18. In addition, Staples customers will be able to get involved by donating $1 at any Staples store, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting local students in need. Each Staples store will be matched to a local educational not-for-profit organization serving local youth, and DoSomething.org and Staples will ensure that all the donations get to these partners just in time for the new school year.
“Do Something 101 has done an amazing job in its first two years, and I’m dedicated to making the 2010 campaign the best yet,” said Nikki Reed. “Every donated pencil, notebook and other supplies add up to make a big difference in improving education.”
During the first two Do Something 101 school supply drives, Staples and DoSomething.org, with the help from celebrity supporters Jordin Sparks and Ciara, raised more than $750,000. To build on this success and help kick off the 2010 campaign, Nikki is starring in a public service announcement (PSA) that will air on television and radio stations nationwide, starting in July. Staples will also donate more than $125,000 worth of school supplies to the program.
“Since 2008, Do Something 101 has inspired teens and Staples customers to help students in need who cannot afford basic school supplies,” said Jevin Eagle, executive vice president of merchandising and marketing at Staples. “Staples is committed to making a difference in the community, and we hope to continue to build awareness for Do Something 101 to help hundreds of thousands of students succeed in school.”
Teens who want to get involved can go to www.DoSomething101.org for ideas on how to run local school supply drives and to sign up for an action kit. Whether holding a school supply drive at summer camp, during a summer sports league, or at a neighborhood block party, DoSomething.org and Staples offer tips, resources, and flyers for how to get started and make the most of every teen’s summer.
“DoSomething.org empowers teens to take action in their communities,” said Nancy Lublin, CEO and Chief Old Person at DoSomething.org. “Staples has been a fantastic supporter for the past several years and we’re thrilled to continue the relationship, and the Do Something 101 campaign, to provide young people with even more opportunities to rock social change with their friends this summer.”
To further demonstrate support for DoSomething.org, new for 2010, Staples is launching a line of DoSomething.org-inspired products that students can use to keep organized and learn about important issues impacting their communities. These products will be available at Staples retail stores by July 4 and will direct students to www.dosomething101.org/staples, a dedicated microsite with additional information and suggestions to help students take action in their communities.

Nikki Reed is featured on the cover of the same issue of Saturday Night Magazine that Jackson rathbone also appears in. Nikki talks about her expanded role in Eclipse.
“SNMag: What can you tell us about the new movie, Eclipse?
Nikki Reed: It’s full of action, as you can see from the trailers. You really get a glimpse at what it was like for us before we were vampires and how we made the journey. It’s a lot more visually intense.
SNMag: How did you prepare for the filming?
NR: We were in stunt, personal and fight training all the time. I felt like a professional athlete. I felt like all I did was train. They had to make sure our bodies were in good physical shape because we did a lot of our own stunts. There were weeks when I would work Monday through Saturday.
SNMag: What was the coolest stunt you got to do yourself?
NR: Running on steep 30 foot treadmills with harnesses on and jumping while running at 10.0 on the treadmill and ducking through branches and being on the back of tow trucks, being pulled at 100 miles an hour.”
