Abduction starring Taylor Lautner will be hitting shelves on Jan. 17 and two lucky Lexicon readers will win copies of the DVD! If you would like to win this prize, all you have to do is leave a comment for us explaining what your favorite scene from Abduction was or why you are a fan of Taylor Lautner. We will pick two winners at random on the evening of Jan. 12. This contest is open only to those in the continental United States.

Taylor Lautner Talks About Fans Following Him

Taylor Lautner is now doing PR for the Abduction DVD release on January 7. Here’s what he had to say about fans:

Jason Isaacs said the hardcore fans were camped out on the set every day to get a glimpse of you in the car…

“There was a lot of fans on set. I think probably the highlight, we were actually there for a week. We were filming in a random city called Sutterville and there was a population of six hundred people and one night we had over eight hundred girls on set. So, there was definitely a few people driving in from different cities. It was pretty impressive. There were some great fans there in Sutterville.”

How do you handle that? You can’t talk to all of them.

“I found a way to. It was tiring because we were actually filming nights there. So, you show up at 8PM and work until 5AM. At 5AM I would go out and there would literally be eight hundred people down the street. I would go out and pretty much take pictures with all of them. It took about an hour and we tried to do it fast. Doing it fast for eight hundred people was still an hour. But it was important to me.”

Any crazy fan encounters?

“No, nothing crazy. I think that I had like three hundred people in my front lawn at one point, but that was about it.”

That’s not crazy at all.

(Laughs) “They were behaved fans though.”

Taylor Lautner People Magazine Cover is Fake

Taylor Lautner is not coming out in the January 7th issue of People Magazine. Apparently a manip (manipulated photo) that had its origins on Tumblr somehow got picked up by a variety of news services as legit. It is in fact A FAKE. The photo itself is real enough having been part of the New Moon PR campaign, but the text is entirely bogus. Gossip Cop has full details.

Vote Kristen Stewart To Win E! Leading Lady of the Year & Pattinson vs Depp Battle

As we have been reporting, E! has several polls going on a celebrity of the year thing. There are all sorts of divisions male, female, singers, actors, etc. Anyway, Kristen Stewart has now made it into the Leading Lady Final Round where she is matched against Mila Kunis. The winner then moves into the over all finals where the ultimate winner will get to pick a charity, and E! will donate $25,000 to that charity.

Let’s try to get as many Twilight actors into this final round as possible.

Meanwhile Rob is in a really tough battle in the men’s division with Johnny Depp. Vote for Rob here.

Both Taylor Lautner and robert Pattinson are having their images added to Madame Tussaud’s. Rob already has his likeness in the New York and London sites and now he can add china. Taylor is a complete newbie.

Two-time GRAMMY® Award winner Common, hip-hop innovator Grandmaster Flash, GRAMMY winner Lupe Fiasco, two-time GRAMMY winner LL COOL J, GRAMMY-winning hip-hop artist Melle Mel, rap star Rick Ross and rapper Scorpio will join together for a special performance of “The Message,” on THE GRAMMY NOMINATIONS CONCERT LIVE! — COUNTDOWN TO MUSIC’S BIGGEST NIGHT®. The special will be broadcast live from the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE on Wednesday, Nov. 30 (10:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. “The Message” is the seminal rap recording by Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five featuring Melle Mel and Duke Bootee, which was recently inducted into the 2012 GRAMMY Hall of Fame.

Academy Award-nominated actress Taraji P. Henson and actor Taylor Lautner are the latest presenters added to the one-hour special. Previously announced performers are Jason Aldean, Lady Gaga, Ludacris, Rihanna, Valerie Simpson, Mike Stoller, Sugarland, The Band Perry and Usher.
